My name is Joe McCoy, I attend Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester Vermont. I just started my Junior year. I am a three sport athlete. I play football, hockey, and baseball. Their are five people in my family and I have two brothers. One older named Jay and one younger named Jack. Jack is thirteen years old and Jay is eighteen. My dad is a detective for the Vermont State Police and My mom is a speech pathologist at the local highschool. Me and my family are pretty close. My dads coached me up on the sidelines and my mom never misses a game.

 

             I have been involved with sports my whole life. I use to travel all over for hockey. I play summer ball for baseball in the summers. It's my favorite hobby. Since the summer of eighth grade I have been working at Ekwanok Country Club in. I have meet and caddied some great people including Jim Kaat. Former Professional baseball player. I am thoroughly involved with my community. I help out with special olympics and part of the Leadership Team at my school. This summer the leadership team traveled to conference out In Indiana. We were the first group from our school to go  to this conference. Second school from Vermont to go. One of the biggest high school leadership conferences in the country. Pretty great experience.

 

                I love to sing and act. I have been in chorus classes throughout my middle and high school years. I'm not saying I'm the best singer but I like to sing with groups.  I like acting. In middle school I would always be the lead roles in my plays. To be honest I like the attention. The most important part of my life is my friends. I hangout with my friends everyday after school and every weekend. We play sports together, eat lunch together, and get in trouble together. At first I was best friends with Jake Nicholson at a young age. Then, John moved in to town from Connecticut. Jake Baker moved here from New York. Patrick Forstmann moved here from Connecticut as well. Meanwhile, Logan Morgan and Ben Swinarton grew up with me through elementary school. There my guys.

 

                This is my first year of cinematography. I am excited to learn more about cinema and to be involved in great films. I am learning a lot through my first couple of weeks in Cinema. I have already made a couple of films and even created my own website. I have some ideas of films in mind which I am excited to see be put in action. It's going to be a process but I will get the hang of it. Can't wait to get in the groove and I am ready to make some films!
